The study develops Proteks PH, an Android-based bilingual Tagalog-English SMS messaging application integrated with a phishing detection system. It employs Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning specifically XLM-RoBERTa for text classification and XGBoost for URL analysis. The app operates offline, prioritizing user privacy, and detects phishing messages in real-time by analyzing linguistic patterns and malicious URLs.
